# Pricing on Karigarh

Karigarh is a marketplace, not a subscription product: **there are no plans,
tiers or seats, and no account is needed to browse.** You pay per item, in
Indian Rupees.

## How an item is priced

- Every listing shows a single price in **INR, inclusive of GST**. Where a
higher MRP is shown struck through, the difference is the discount on that
  item.
- Prices are set per product and change as stock and craft costs change. The
authoritative price for any item is the one on its product page and in the
  [product feed](https://www.karigarh.com/feeds/products.jsonl).
- Handmade pieces are made in small runs; an item that is out of stock shows
as unavailable rather than being backordered.

## Shipping

- Delivery is **within India only**. Serviceability for a pin code is checked
  at checkout.
- Shipping charges, where they apply, are calculated at checkout from the
destination pin code and the parcel's weight and dimensions, and are shown
before payment. Promotional free shipping is applied automatically when it
  is running.

## Payment

- Handled by **Razorpay**: UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and
  wallets.
- **Cash on delivery** is available on eligible orders and pin codes.

## Returns

Eligible items can be returned by raising a request from Order History. The
window, conditions and exclusions are in the
[return policy](https://www.karigarh.com/ReturnPolicy.md). Refunds are made to the original
payment method.

## Selling on Karigarh

Vendors are onboarded by invitation and paid through a commission model agreed
per vendor; there is no self-service seller signup and no listing fee page.
